You know, ever since I was a kid, I was totally grabbed by that Joe Kubert Strange Adventures cover, but have never hunted down the book.
I gotta do that one of these days.

I owned JLA #85 when i was in kindergarten, but it got thrown out or something. Anyway, one day, when i was in sixth grade, i found an old coverless comic book in the back of the room by the books and things. I don't remember what it was -- Binky or similar kiddie fare -- but it had this ad in it. Although i knew full well that it was wrong, i decided that i HAD to have this ad, so i tore the page from the comic book and snuck it home. I probably still have it today. MORE SALT, COMMANDER! MORE SALT!
